The Gran Reserva line reflects all the innovation and creativity that defines 7Colores. Its wines stand out from other blends on the market by combining traditional red varieties with heritage white grapes that tell the story of Chilean winemaking.
Among its innovative combinations, is 7Colores Carmenère/Viognier. Both varieties come from the same vineyard in the Maule Valley, showcasing perfect harmony with its terroir.
The white grape brings delicate floral notes, resulting in a wine of great concentration and silky tannins. The 2017 vintage was awarded 90 points by international critic James Suckling and 93 points by La CAV, while the 2021 vintage also earned 90 points in the Descorchados guide.
From the Casablanca Valley comes the Pinot Noir/Semillón, a blend where Semillón enhances the fruity character of Pinot Noir with sweeter fruit notes, enriching its aromatic profile. The result is a wine with smooth tannins and excellent structure. Its 2021 vintage received 90 points from both James Suckling and La CAV, reaffirming its quality.
Lastly, the Cabernet Sauvignon/Muscat, from the Maipo Valley. The white variety adds expressive floral notes and enhances the wine’s complexity, which comes across as juicy on the palate, with good density and enveloping tannins. The 2021 vintage was rated 92 points by La CAV, and the 2020 vintage earned 91 points from Descorchados.
7Colores Gran Reserva dares to challenge the rules, while delivering balance and a truly unique sensory experience.
